An interesting shave, not exactly a spoke shave, derived from a shoe shave and made heavier for woodworking. This is an example of the Type 6 and would have originally been nickel plated, though it's now painted. The blade is obviously a Stanley replacement. Made by J.... Y. Simons sometime in the mid-1890s.
