Rare and original, 1910’s Complete Deck of Molson’s Brewery Beer / India Pale Ale Advertising Playing Cards with remnants of the original box.
The Deck includes all 52 Playing Cards (there is no Joker if one was issued with the deck) and was manufactured by Goodall & Son of London. The Deck retains the front and rear panels of the original Box (both panels are damaged).
The Card fronts are typical designs of the period whil...e the Ace of Spades features the trade mark of Goodall & Son Limited. The back of each card features an image of the label from an early 20th century long neck Bottle of Molson’s India Pale Ale. The Box features a playing card from the deck with its back displayed on one side and Advertising on the other that reads “With the Compliments of Molson’s Brewery Limited, Montreal / India Pale Ale and XXX Porter / Brewed in Montreal for Over 128 Years”.
This rare and original, Complete Deck of 1910’s Molson’s India Pale Ale Advertising Playing Cards is in very good condition. The Deck of Cards include the 52 Playing Cards (the Joker is lacking) and has some soiling at the edges from use but no damage of any kind. As stated above, the Deck retains the front and rear panels of the original box and both panels are damaged as seen in the scans below.
