Below I have listed 60 cards from the Bowman 1955, and Topps 1958, 1959 and 1960 football cards series with the current PSA estimate of their worth in each category. (I wish the columns were straighter). You are purchasing the right to select the 10 cards of your choice for $10, not all 60. Once you have made your purchase contact me with your 10 selections and they will be shipped within 3 days. I am the original owner of the Topps cards. They have been k...ept in plastic sleeves for the past 50 years, and prior to that were stored in cigar boxes as was the practice in my youth. These cards featured a scratch off on the back and as a 13 year old boy I, of course, scratched them off. If you would like to see the back of any card please contact me and I will send you a picture. The 1958 49ers Marv Matuzsak, Billy Wilson, Matt Hazeltine, Gordy Soltau, and Dicky Moegle cards are autographed. I have no proof of authentication. I lived 2 miles from the 49ers' training facility in Redwood City, CA and would ride my bike after school to get autographs. I also made the mistake of gluing 3 of these autographed cards into game day programs along with the 49er team card The result of removing them from the programs can be seen in the photos, and will surely lessen their PSA grades. The poor clarity of some of the cards is due to my poor photography. If you would like a picture of any card you might be interested in please contact me. The '59 and '60 Topps cards are the one's I would rate EM 6 or NM 7, though some of the cards are too off center to merit a grade that high (refer to the photos).
I am not the original owner of the Bowman cards and do not remember how I obtained them, but it had to be between 1957 and 1960 as those were my card collecting years. I wish they had been better taken care of prior to my possession, but were stored as previously described since. I would describe cards 4, 9, 45, 47, 59, 66, & 81 as Very Good (VG) - 3 based on PSA standards, but that grade may be generous. The rest are in various stages of wear and tear, (Good to Fair to Poor), especially the Nomellini card.
