An Illinois state license plate stamped "BW 26, " formerly belonging to legendary Cubs Hall of Famer Billy Williams. 1971 license plate is signed by Williams and reads "Billy Williams H.O.F. 1987" in black marker. This is not a souvenir item - these were the actual tags issued to Billy Williams in 1971. The plate was long expired by the time his 1987 induction into the Hall of Fame rolled around, some time after which Williams signed the old plate and gave it to the individ...ual through whom we acquired it.
