ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRONZE ASIAN CHINESE BIRD SERPENT CHRYSANTHEMUM FLORAL VASE

Here is a lovely large antique Chinese bronze 12" vase, very decorative, with great raised relief work of a bird on branches, a pod and chrysanthemums arranged in a bowl on the front of the vase's neck, and two very unusual elephant headed serpentine handles. Graceful swells, classic form. Very beautiful bronze patina, great dark color. Nice subtle gilt highlights from being held.

Measures approximately 12" T x 6" at it's widest middle bulb.

Item is in excellent antique condition. It does have a ding, (which is shown in the last picture).
The piece has great feel to it, is heavy and dense, and really is fantastic.
It is kind of dirty. I was afraid to clean it, so I just wiped it off
I am not an Expert, but there is another one on Ebay that is being sold from an Antique Store, so I am
using their advise on the age of this Great Bronze Vase. This one is Signed and theirs is not and
theirs is twice as much!
