Designed by Dieter Rams German tube radio and recordplayer from 1957/1958 Perfect Working Powerful Sound!!! DescriptionThis particular radio-phonograph combination is in a splendid cosmeticcondition and full working order. It has a four speed record player 78, 45, 33, 16 rpm. The tube radio picks up LW, MW, and UKW signals (Broadcast, Long Wave, and FM).The vaneers are in a great order for itsage. Al...l parts are in a splendid order. It isn´t a new device, so it hascertainly some wearmarks here and there and sign of use. Small scratches hereand there, small dents, small color differences, yellowish spots, etc... To the left of the record player, the previous owner screwed on a recordbrush. This was removed, the two small holes werefilled. Easily visible and the color differencesunder the brush and the rest. Unfortunately not visible on the photos. But at all a splendid condition for its age.This radio phonograph was completelyrestored and revised. Completely Overhauled. Tubes were checked and defectivereplaced. All critical capacitors, defective elkos and resistors were replaced.Bulbs were replaced, new power cable and plug. The record player wascompletely disassembled and overhauled. The engine has been cleaned andrestored. The engine mounts were revised. All adjusted. New stereo crystalphono cartridge with new needle (not on the photos), all individual parts werecleaned, all mechanical parts were cleaned and re-oiled, all contacts wererefreshed, technically checked, etc....(Please look at the pictures)The radio-phonograph is in a perfect working order. The cabinet is in a verygood condition, due to the age of the device. The varnish is a little bit yellowish. Allswitches and knobs work well (treble, bass, etc.). The platter will move in allspeeds, plays records fine and loud. The sound is clear and very powerful!A truly design classic by Dieter Rams.It works in all its bands: AM, FM, MW and LW. All functions are guaranteed.The magic eye is new.The 9 tubes are in a very good working order.Tubes: ECC85, ECH81, EF89, EF89, EM80, EABC80, EC92, EL95, EL95. Voltage regulator works from 110 to240V. If you are looking for a radio-phonograph with a spectacular look, thiswould be the right choice. It is possible to connect external players likeipod, iphone and other.
