Original Heuer Corfam racing band from the 1960s/70s as the watches were sold initially. Has been mated with a steel Heuer buckle made in the last 25 years. These Heuer Corfam bands came on the 1960s/70s Heuer vintage chronograph models when they were originally sold. If you look at an original catalog ad for your Heuer, most were offered with a choice of a Corfam rally band or a steel bracelet. Few Corfam rally bands have survived. Here is a completely New Old Stock black 22mm Heuer original vintage rally band. The band has a beautiful glossy finish with a fine calf grain pattern. Corfam is a synthetic leather made in a patented process in the 1960s/70s. When these bands do show up with an original watch, they are usually too worn to wear. This is a rare opportunity to buy one that is New Old Stock to use or to set aside as NOS with your watch in your collection to greatly increase its value. Paired with a steel Heuer buckle from the reissue line by TAG-Heuer authenticated with the B stamp on back (watch out for the many fakes). The band is completely unsigned as original Heuer 1960s/70s bands were. The back of the strap has no lettering at all. Nice supple feel to the strap and it bends easily; it is not stiff or dry as some NOS bands can be. Highly durable because it is a synthetic leather not affected by aging. Strap was made from three layers. Has the wide single strap keeper. Fully stitched for durability. In mint NOS condition. Standard length strap of 7 1/2 inches long (19cm). Metric measurement is 115/75. The thickness goes from 2.4mm at the tail to 3mm where the band meets the watch. This band also would be a great strap for to give your TAG-Heuer Monaco reissue watch some vintage flair. You can buy this band without a buckle in another one of our auctions.
