Zenith 9s232 Walton Tombstone Radio. Condition is "Used". Fed X Home delivery. This is the last radio from a family estate. It is a (Walton) 9 tube robot dial motor tuning radio. The cabinet is in original condition (no refinish) The chassis is original to the radio but was worked on at various times in its life. The Knobs are original to the set and it has the correct speaker. the chassis was painted and I tried to find the white stamp but , no luck the cabinet has one. Th...e grill cloth was replaced a few years back Please note the chassis model Number. I tested the radio with a regulated power supply and the dial motor works both ways (fast) The 6H5 target tube works great (bright) The speaker is in great shape with only 2 small holes. I have had and looked at many great radios but, You will not be sorry You bought It. The radio turns on switches bands . Touching the grids produces sounds( oscillator works) The transformer stays cool and has been replaced over the years.The dial face times 2 are in great shape. Plenty of volume but not able to pick up stations.Please feel free to ask questions.
