This antique verge fusee pocket watch measures 51mm (2") across the outer case and weighs 117 grams. The movement is marked for Brockbank London 1187 and the balance wheel moves well and it only ticks for a second so it will need some skilled attention the case is hallmarked for silver 1866 which might perhaps be later than the movement? The movement is really well made with a very unusual verge wheel (photo10) and a cameo to the balance cock. An interesting pocket watch in hones...t antique condition sold for spares and repairs with no reserve.
