Original Description:
   Here for auction is this very nice pair of antique porcelain chambersticks. They have a molded and dimples design with leaf decoration. All handpainted with flowers, and trimmed in gold. And they have a stylized snakehead handles. They are apparently unmarked, unsigned. I believe they are German, but they could be English or French; unconfirmed. Definitely antique, late 19th C. They measure approx. 2 1/2" tall X 2 3/4" across at the base. They will accept 3/4" tapers. ...;No chips, cracks or repairs. Just typical antique wear to the gold. One has a wax taper stuck in it, but relatively easy to remove. Please view all of the images, as they are part of this description.
