This is a pair of vintage porcelain Oriental Asian Japanese Florence Ceramics figurines. Both have wonderful gold detailing that is in great shape. The male figure has a flower in one hand and a vase or urn in the other, and a dragon in gold on his shirt. The female figure has a fan in one hand with flowers on her shirt and matching flowers in her hair. The flowers have a tinge of pink on them. They stand 8" tall and are in excellent condition. There aren't any chips or glaze issu...es on these other than some of the flower petals may have broken off – but it’s really hard to tell. Please see photos. The markings on the bottom say: Pasadena, California Florence Ceramics Patent Pending, with the number F. 70 on the male. They date to the 1940s - 1950s.
