1967 SIDDUR AVODAT ISRAEL HEBREW & ENGLISH PRAYER BOOK w/METAL COVER & TURQUOISE-LIKE STONES. I am so excited to share this treasure with someone who will value it. For the last 40 years this prayer book has been stored and not in use. But clearly the original owner spent much time in prayer, using the book for its intended purpose. If you want a 1967 SIDDUR AVODAT ISRAEL prayer book that is mint and unused, this one is not for you. It you want one... that has been used to search the soul and pray to the Soverign, Eternal God...this one certainly was used for God's glory on many, many occasions during the Jewish religious year. Size: 3.5" x 5" x 1.15"Sinai Publishing, Tel Aviv.448 PagesNO FOLDS, RIPS, OR MISSING PAGES. I have taken pictures of the two inside front and back sheets of brown parchment stock that is the inner lining of the prayer book. You can see the thumb-worn edges where the prayer book was opened and closed over and over again. Only one place with writing, first page (see picture), which may be a name? (I don't understand Hebrew text)Metal cover with eleven (11) turquoise-like stones - all present and in placeTight binding; solid spineMetal cover has patina and oxidation from age and use.
