1920s MEAD RANGER MENS MOTORBIKE FRAME+FORKS PREWAR VINTAGE SCHWINN BICYCLE 20 Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Looki...ng for your next fun UNIQUE project? This may be it! Here is an original prewar antique (I am guessing teens-1920s) mens "Motobike" bicycle frame and forks. The previous owner said this was a "Mead Ranger" model. (see pics and be your own judge) I believe this was made by Schwinn in Chicago USA and sold under the Mead Ranger name. (would be cool to badge it as a Schwinn, Henderson, Excelsior, etc) The serial number is 48 705? and hand stamped on the bottom of the cranks housing. This one has been in VERY long term storage. Would need a total restoration for show or have fun with it in its current patina. Add your parts and have a fun OLD antique bike! Would be really cool to use a more common girls bike to build this one up! Add a TANK for some real fun!
Includes the frame, forks, cranks with sprocket, rear adjusters, and everything shown!

*DIMENSIONS I believe this to have been born with 28" wheels. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 20 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22 1/2".
Check out the head badge area. (this is the 2nd bike I have seen like this very recently!) Its kind of cool!
