(5) Small Triceratops Teeth
This collection of five small teeth comes from the three horned dinosaur, Triceratops Horridus. Triceratops Horridus was a large herbivore that continually shed their teeth while eating. The teeth would then be replaced by new ones. Triceratops adults grew to an enormous size. Their heads alone were over 6 feet in length and the whole animal was around 29 feet in length.
All five of these Triceratops teeth were found... in one piece needing no restoration. The largest tooth has natural feeding wear. These five Triceratops teeth all have nice detail and preservation with a dark brown to black coloration. All around a nice group of small Triceratops teeth.
The largest Triceratops tooth measures: 1/2" of an inch wide by 15/16" of an inch in length.
The smallest Triceratops tooth measures: 1/4" of an inch wide by 3/8" of an inch in length.
This collection of five Triceratops teeth were dug out of a microsite in the Hell Creek Formation of Powder River County, Montana. These five fossils were collected on private ranch land with the owner's permission.
