This is a 3 ½ inch long Hoekaspis trilobite from Bolivia dating back to the Mid-Ordovician Period some 461 to 466 million years ago.These trilobites are found in very hard rock nodules that had to be broken open to expose the trilobite. This would often result in damaged or missing parts. Even though this Hoekaspis is repaired, it is one of the most complete that I ever acquired. This is one trilobite showing its positive and negative. There is no restoration only piec...es glued back together.Shipping is free to continental USA destinations.
