Lovely mid 20th c. Los Castillo, Taxco hammered, silver plated sugar bowl with figural pair of green stone inlaid birds, also comes with lid and lovely figural flower handle spoon. Attributed to silversmith artist Emilia Castillo. Overall good condition, light tarnish and light surface scratches, some tiny dings, a couple small chips to the stone on handles. Measures approx. 4.5”h x 5.5w x 3"d. Marked on verso "TA-01, LOS CASTILLO, TAXCO, MEXICO, PLATEADO, 207. Also stamped... Los Castillo on spoon. A gorgeous sugar bowl!
