ANTIQUE MOHAIR Shoe Button Eyes Excelsior Stuffing HUMP BACK TEDDY BEAR
A very rare, circa 1910, blonde mohair, jointed, Teddy Bear. This bear has no I.D.'s to prove he is a Steiff but he does have all of the qualifications and there is a small hole in his ear, where the button should be. He measures approximately 11" long and is in very good condition (considering his age!). He has shoe button eyes, a stitched nose and mouth, excelsior stuffing, felt covered paw...s, and stitching remnants on his paws. It feels like he had a squeaker or a growler, but it no longer works. His only flaws appear to be missing mohair and stitches missing on his nose and paws (and his growler doesn't work). He still looks incredible! This is a wonderful, antique, blonde mohair jointed bear! He is very early and will certainly compliment any collection! What a darling! Being offered with no reserve.
