I have been selling amber fossils for over 10 years on eBay and do not sell fake amber only genuine material from now extinct plant sources not glass or plastic embedded with present day inclusions. This piece is genuine amberformed over millions of years of polymerization.Burmite (Burmese) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and wo...uld have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaurs and is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar(Burma).This is a fully polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains two flies from the Cretaceous Period. This piece has a beautiful, deep orange color (untreated).These insects would have been on the Earth when dinosaurs still walked including T-Rex and Triceratops!
