RARE BESWICK BEATRIX POTTER PROTOTYPE ' MISS MOPPET '

The 'Miss Moppet' original factory prototype. The figure was proposed for the Better Red Limited Edition set of Beatrix Potter figures but declined. The set was specially commissioned by Lambeth Productions to mark the introduction of the Royal Albert Beatrix Potter range of figures at the International Doulton Collectors Weekend in the early 1990s in Toronto, Canada. The kerchief and bow on this prototype are decorated in the signature red used on the set. The figure is acco...mpanied by a letter of authentication from the company.
