Rare Antique French Legras Art Glass Figural Bottle - Les Denicheurs-Girl Boy Climbing Tree *** Origin France Date Circa 1910s. In very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The name of this Legras mold is Les Denicheurs (translates The Finders).This unique bottle, reminiscent of Jack & the Beanstalk, measures 14-5/8" tall, with a diameter of 4-1/8", and it weighs just under 2 lbs. This design pictures a boy and girl... climbing a tree to return a baby bird to its nest, and our research indicates that the original bottle stopper [not available with this bottle] was a birds nest. Unlike similar bottles we could find from the same mold in our research, this bottle is not clear but has two layers of glass – the inner layer is white glass, and the outer layer is clear (we tried our best to capture this in the photos).
