JOHNSTON - Pontiled Philadelphia Soda - Star Variant - Circa 1855 Here is circa 1850-1855 pony style soda from Philly. The bottom is iron pontiled, which is clear but no iron residue. The top is an applied blob.

This is a recently excavated bottle that has only been rinsed... out and never tumble cleaned. So it has patchy stain and some light swirl etch wear that could be polished up if desired.
