Chris Maragos Seattle Seahawks Game Worn & Signed White & Black Nike Cleats - Worn Vs Washington Redskins, 3 Tackles!!!
Chris Maragos is a free agent safety most recently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He has also been a member of the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at Western Michigan before transferring to Wisconsin.
As a student at UW-Madison,... Maragos was part of several student groups, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusaders for Christ and Athletes in Action.
For his off the field work with Athletes in Action, Maragos was recognized as a one of 11 NCAA Division I football players selected for the All-State AFCA Good Works Team. In addition to his work with these groups, Maragos also does community service on his own time. He often visits jails and schools for his personal speaking events, where he tells the story of his life.
At his Pro Day at Wisconsin in 2010, as Combine legend Gil Brandt put it, Maragos “ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 and 4.47 seconds, had a 36-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot broad jump and did 15 repetitions in the bench press at 225 pounds. Where Maragos really made his mark was in the agility drills. Quickness is a vital attribute for defensive backs, and Maragos showed he has what it takes athletically. His 6.55-second three-cone drill and 3.98-second short shuttle would have been the best times at the NFL Scouting Combine for any position.”
Maragos played in 11 games with the Seahawks in 2011 and had 13 tackles. The former Wisconsin captain is a great tackler and quarterback of the secondary and was an integral part of the Seahawks special team success in the 2013 season.
The featured size 12 white and black nike cleats were game worn by Chris Maragos when the Seattle Seahawks faced the Washington Redskins on November 27th, 2011. Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman came up with a game-winning 50-Yard TD toss to Anthony Armstrong midway through the fourth quarter to give Washington a stunning 23-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Maragos had three tackles in the loss. The special teams ace has signed the cleats and added “Game Worn 2011 Vs Redskins 11/27/11” to the right cleat. The word “Worn” is slightly smudged which could be viewed in images. The cleats show good use.
