10-10L KEYSTONE PACKARD #45 U.S. MAIL TRUCK 26” PRESSED STEEL This is a large pressed steel U.S. Mail Truck made by Keystone in the 1920’s-1930’s time period.This is Keystone Packard #45.It’s been in my collection since 1991.It measures 26 inches in length. This truck has three screened panels on the side, making it one of the later models.The truck was complete and ori...ginal when purchased, but the black paint on the cab was in bad shape.The cab was removed from the chassis, bead blasted, primed and glaze puttied. I am unable to finish sand and repaint it, so it is being sold as-is. It has the original radiator cap, headlights, and swing-out flag. The original steering wheel is also included.The screen-side body was also carefully removed from the chassis. It has its original khaki paint and decals. The rear doors are complete, and the paint is in fair condition, but peeling.The chassis, wheels and tires are in good condition. The tires are marked Keystone Trucks & Hood Balloon Tires.I’ll leave it up to the buyer to decide whether to leave the body and chassis as-is, or repaint them. I have done my best to accurately describe this item, but I am not an expert. Look at the pictures, or ask for additional information before you bid, as there will be no returns on this item.
