This is a simply PERFECT grey knit button down jersey featuring the classic NEW YORK sewn on front in blue material, outlined orange and black (Velcro sewn between the W and Y). Matching 34 sewn below left breast. Reverse features much larger matching sewn 34 with individual matchin...g letters sewn above, BENSON. The MLB logo patch is sewn above. Left sleeve has the Majestic logo embroidered in blue with the traditional Met's round patch sewn above. BOB MURPHY is embroidered above, in memory of this long time announcer passing away on August 3rd during the season. Right sleeve features the stunning SHEA STADIUM 40th Anniversary patch with the "Ya Gotta Believe" embroidered below in memory of pitcher Tug McGraw's passing prior to the 2004 season.
