Rare, early 1900's cabinet photograph of miners from the West Stuart Mine in Butte, Montana. Caption, written in the negative at the lower left corner, reads; "West Stuart Mine" The mount is pencil noted on the reverse; "Butte, Montana"cardboard mount measures: 8 3/4" x 10 3/4" (the photograph itself measures: 6" x 8 3/8") -- Condition: original cardboard mounted antique sepia tone photograph, surface chipping to photo at the upper center portion of the image, very small brown stain a...t center, a couple of additional small light stains at upper portion, the mount shows wear at edges and corners (some of the surface paper on the mount is chipped at edges of mount) small crease in mount at the upper left corner, please see scanned & digital images BUTTE, MONTANA, WEST STUART MINE Antique 1900's MINERS CABINET PHOTO Mining Rare
