This auction is for an antique Chinese large silk embroidered robe, likely made during the late Qing Dynasty, 19th or early 20th century. From an American Missionary estate. Red silk "gauze" base, with dragon roundels. Embroidered black border with smaller brocade borders. Damage, stains, and small holes, as shown in photos. Displays very nicely. Approximate height 51 1/2" (130.81cm). Approximate width at narrowest point of chest is 21" (53.34cm). Approximate width of outstretched sleeves 55" (1...39.7cm). This is a 10 day no-reserve auction. We don't end auctions early. Robe will be very well packed, and shipped within 3 business days of receiving payment. $18 for shipping in USA lower 48, Worldwide shipping $58.
