Small Antique Bisque Porcelain Doll Jointed Open Close Eyes Open MouthShe is adorable.Bisque porcelain head with open close eyes. Eyes look brown.Open mouth with teeth.Wig cap firmly glued in place, I tried to lift it up.Remnants of blonde hair remain on the cap.No markings on doll or head.Body full jointed and held together with string.String is glued on the ends.I can't tell for sure but I think the body is all composition. Only the head is porcelain?But body looks painted a flesh to...ne with a pink tone under the paint. I can't take her dress off without cutting the treads holding the dress at the neck so i left it alone.Painted socks and shoes.Shoe paint is cracking off. One each shoe there is a crackle line that runs around the circumference.
I can't tell if they had been broken and reglued back together or that they just a continuous crack.She is only 6 1/2" tall. Paint chipping on fingers and hands.She is a little dirty.Her clothes are torn and tattered.The dress use to be blue silk but what's left of it is very fragile and falling apart in my hands. Most of the silk on the dress is completely gone.She is just darling.I am not a doll expert by any means so please roll over all 12 photos for details that I may have missed in the description.Thanks for looking :)Most everything I sell is vintage.
