Up for auction is a fine antique Ebony walking stick with a gold filled handle. It has the Masonic Square and Compass engraved on it and is Presented to ( what looks like MH Hornsday) By The Employees of the County Clerks a Testimonial of their Friendship Chicago Dec 14, 1877. It measures 33 1/2" long, the handle is 3" tall x 3 3/8" wide. There is wear to the gold, dings and what loos like an old repair at the elbow. The tip has been shortened and a rubber end added.
