you are bidding on a very old antique German Silver Bread or Fruit Basket .An openwork basket with cherubs . This is stamped 800. It weighs 440 grams 12" X 10" X 3" There are two minor separations see photos . There are no other hallmarks seen ..The History is Grand Pa owned an antique shop in Munich He Sold the store and came to the US / NYC in 1936. He was able to ship this and other personal items to the US in small quanities via relatives in Barcelona... and Zurich Then to Halifax and finaly to NYC . Passed down through the family over the years this and other items will soon to be listed as they are no longer wanted by our grand children .
