It is a 1993 Published First Edition Haunted Mask. Unlike other Haunted Mask books, this advertises a Free mask on the cover. What's better, is that the mask is st...ill there! The front and back cover are bold, with no fading. They look pretty new. There is no rippling, folds, tears, or writing. Pages appear flat without gaps. The only fairly major issue is some discoloration on the pages on the side, and mainly on the paper in the innermost covers. There is a bit of a musty smell to it as well. I am not skilled in book repair or cleaning, and I don't want to risk the excellent condition of the book otherwise by poorly attempting to "fix" it. If that's something you can do, this book is for you. If you want to frame, or display this book, it may be for you. If you are wanting to give this to a kid to read.... you might NOT want it. The smell is noticeable if you are close, certainly at reading distance. Please do not purchase this book if you are sensitive to scent. I have considered all aspects of this piece when pricing.
