~STYLE~
This unusual custom design features gray fur with luscious darker-toned striping and features spiral fur neckline detail; horizontal pelts; and tabs at the front that tie into a bow (I realized after taking all the photos that I had fastened the bow incorrectly, ha! Last photo shows the intended way). Fully lined in patterned satin and closes with a hook above the bust and one at the bottom (one of the bow ties closes with a third hook). A darling little piece for... your formal event, wedding, or retro outfit! So much care went into crafting this one-of-a-kind mink cape.
~SIZE~
Size unmarked, please go by the measurements: across lying flat at bust level, 27"; length from shoulder in front, 27"; length in back, 16.5"; shoulders, up to about 16.5". For reference, my mannequin (with arms) is a tall size 4.
~CONDITION~
The fur is clean and soft and pliable, no odors beyond a faint floral scent; there is a little bit of edge wear, not noticeable. It's hard to know the original color of vintage mink, and it's likely there's been a little oxidation over the years, but overall the color is still nicely gray/silver, not yellowy. The lining is lovely, clean and fresh; there's some wear-through at the very bottom edges and near the fastener, you might not notice it at first. **A note about buying pre-owned furs: Part of what gives vintage items their charm and personality is their sense of history. Please keep in mind that all pre-loved furs--even those in excellent or near-new condition--will show some signs of wear. I inspect items very closely, but in most cases, I don't have information about previous owners and how they stored the fur, or previous repairs (if any), so the fur's current state is what I go by in my descriptions. That said, most online sellers use the term "vintage" to describe a very wide range of conditions, but when you purchase a fur from me, you'll know exactly what you are buying.
