Brand new, very rare & recently discontinued Chris Reeve Ti-Lock “In-Motion” born on April 28th, 2017. This is a great opportunity for both collectors and EDC enthusiast.
The TiLock is a collaborative design from Chris Reeve and Grant & Gavin Hawk. The knife was in production from 2010-2017, and was the recipient of the Blade Magazine/Blade Show “Overall Knife of the Year Award” in 2010, the year it was introduced.
The Ti-Lock mechanism w...as originally conceived as a means to isolate the lock from the body of the knife, in order to allow more design freedom for handle and frame. The Ti-Lock is completely ambidextrous, allowing equal left and right hand use. The Ti-Lock is an exercise in mechanical innovation and an illustration of the passion shared by the knife designers involved.
It was subject to three limited edition runs. The third and rarest model in the "Annual Graphic" series is the “TiLock -In-Motion." The TiLock line was discontinued shortly after it's production. The TiLock was the last “non-standard' knife to be created by the company prior to Chris Reeve's retirement being announced in 2016.
It features a tumble finished drop point blade with titanium top lock and brass lock release. The handle has been embellished with the"In-Motion" pattern milled into the handle with a garnet inset. The bead blasted titanium G&G Hawk style pocket clip has been positioned for tip up carry.
This knife has never been used, carried, or sharpened. This treasure has been stored in its sheath in a safe. The edge is factory and the bronze stop pins are magnificent. The knife functions flawlessly and has perfect blade centering. There are no scratches, dents, or marks on the knife. This knife has only been handled for photos. Comes with all original items such as box, birth date card, warranty card, misc. sheets, sticker, assembly tools, CRK calfskin pocket slip, grease, and cloth.
