This is a PURE Blackless Error from the Scarce "B" sheet with No evidence of the facsimile signature or borders. No Creases. Actual card you will receive is shown. Normal 1982 Topps issue of identical card is shown for comparison only.
I am breaking up my COMPLETE 1982 Topps Blackless Set. I will be listin...g each card individually, with a starting bid of $1.00 - $3.00 depending on the player. I was fortunate enough to be among the first to discover these unique, legitimate, error variations in the Detroit area in 1982. It is estimated between 50, and far fewer than 100, of each "A" sheet card exists; Possibly 20, and fewer than 50, of each "B" sheet card exists, and possibly 10, and fewer than 20, of each "C" sheet card exists. Refer to the PSA population report showing how few of even the most popular players have been submitted.The 2010 Topps CMT189 Steve Carlton issue (shown) acknowledges validity of the Blackless variations by the Topps Company. Quote: "These "Blackless" cards are very rare".
