Original Description:
Up for auction is an exceptional Native American Northern Plains beaded medicine bag. The bag features fine bead work using brightly colored beads, sinew thread, soft deer skin interior, and tin cones. The bag measures about 4" from the top of the bead work to the bottom of the row of tin cones, and about 3" wide. It has sinew strands with tin cones that dangle from the bottom of the bag and make a subtle jingling sound. A sinew strap with larger beads is attach...ed to the top. This bag came from the estate of a life-long collector of Native American artifacts, and it probably dates from the late 1800's. I am offering it at auction to the highest bidder, with a .99 starting price. I offer free insured shipping to anywhere in the continental US.
