The Beseler Topcon Super D was the combat-camera of the USNavy and US Air Force from 1960 to 1980 after winning a competitive testagainst the Nikon F and German cameras. Here are some comments about thiscamera and I will quote: “It got astreamline design featuring clean, minimalistic lines, a beautiful chromefinish, and a dead-simple control layout. It’s a large and heavy camera, but itfits out it’s line as beautifully as a Rolls Royce Phantom.”Every feature of this camer...a is machined to perfection.Shutter speed is B to 1/1000 of a second, depth-of-field preview, it also featuresa self timer. The RE.Auto – Topcor F/1.8 5.8 cm stands as some of the finest standard lenses ever made for the SLR, exhibiting incredible sharpness. Here are some additions to this package:- The leather case is in very good condition andmade of pebble-grain leather.- The lens of the camera is a Tokyo Kogaku AutoTopcor 1:1.8 , F=5.8 cm (58mm)- Lens Tokyo Kogaku Auto -Topcor 1:2.8 , F= 3.5 cm (35mm) w/t case- Lens Tokyo Kogaku Auto-Topcor1:3.5 F=13.5 cm (135mm) w/t case- Lens Vivitar Auto 2 x Custom Tele-Converter model2 x 15 w/t case- 90 degree Topcon adjustable view finder adopter.I have a new small battery for thelight-meter but I do know how and if it works.
