Here we have an outstanding and unusual Chinese gilt brass and jade double lidded box for either cards or cigarettes and featuring carved and pierced central light green jade panels of stylized birds in a floral setting and set in an engraved frame resting on half ball feet. Stamped "China." Excellent condition with some ware and good patina! No chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 5" x 3-1/4" x 1-1/4". C.1900
