This is for a beautiful antique sterling silver and enamel compact from 1926. The lid is inset in vivid blue enamel depicting an Oriental water scene, it shows a boat and hut all highlighted in gold paint. The hinged lid has a mirror on the underside and the silver carries a full set of London import marks for 1926 along with the silversmiths initials C&C for Child & Child. This enamel looks like the work of Louis Kuppenheim. It is in excellent condition with no loss... of enamel and only the lightest of surface wear. The mirror is also in excellent condition with no cracks and the compact measures 40mm (1.5") in diameter by 10mm (0.3") deep.
