This is a large brass portrait lens.There is a slot in barrel for fixed aperture inserts. There are no aperture inserts included with the lens. Holding the lens near a flat surface, the distant image comes into focus when the lens is about 11 1/2 inches from the surface. The barrel measures 8 1/2 inches in length and about 4 1/2 in diameter. The glass measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. I used this years ago to make 8x10” werplates.
Has its original flange mounted to a lens ...board from a Kodak Eastman D2 8x10. The glass is in excellent condition with very minimal haze. the front element is slightly loose; when I tilt the lens you can hear it move slightly and it turns freely. the rear element have no movement.
