It includes five math activtiies, has a built-in calculator with memory, as well as a 20-character dot matrix display screen. Whether a 4th grader or an 8th grader, PreComputer 1000 will challenge and stimulate an active mind with four levels of difficulty in history, geography, science and general facts. And, it features word games that can be played with one or two players. Add to that the optional cartridges, and you can expand the question and answer mode to include subjects like sports, bible, fantasy and a 35, 000 word dictionary. This item is clean, works great and other than very minor cosmetic wear, looks like it was barely used. Battery compartment is clean and requires 6 each "C" batteries, which are not included. Also does not come with power adapter or cartridges.
