Antique Figural Roman Centurion Brass Candlestick

This is a superb old candlestick made in the form of a Centurion soldier holding two plates with urns on them which form the candle holders. It is made from brass and is well cast with good detailing and is very heavy. It measures 205mm in height and weighs just under 1kg.

The candlestick in in very good condition with no cracks to the metal. There is some discolouration and staining with age (see photos). I have not tri...ed to clean it. Please note there are the remains of candles in both holders.
