A Rare & Unique Pre-Columbian Jalisco/Colima Tripod Vessel with Figures of Three Parrots and Feather-like Exterior, Protoclassic, ca. 100 B.C.-A.D.250. 
 This extremely rare ceramic bowl, supported by three legs, has three parrot heads evenly spaced around the rim, and a scalloped feather-like outer surface decoration, reddish-brown slip, conical in form, and beautiful ancient patina, dates to the Protoclassic Period of the West Mexican Jalisco sculptural trad...ition with Colima influence, ca. 100 B.C. to A.D. 250. This piece has the charm of a small decorated bird bath. FSA:EA
