Beautiful hand-crafted Edward H Bohlin sterling silver belt buckle with 10 karat gold Elk figure. This buckle was made when E.H. Bohlin hand-carved the designs in his own buckles, holsters, and saddles during the heyday of Hollywood Westerns and Cowboy movies. Quality and craftmanship are illustrated in the photos, which are part of the description. This buckle was mounted on a belt, (not included) but appears to have never been worn, as the belt holes showed no sign ...of ever having the buckle fastened. Any wear (if you can find some) is from hanging in the closet and then sitting in a box for over 60 years. I never saw the Old Man wear it, but I know he loved and cherished it as the special gift that it was. Bohlin is still considered among the best ever made.
