Original Description:
Description: An interesting ALTERED Vintage 70's Blue Calico Gunnies Skirt. Cotton/nylon/rayon. So this appears to have been a traditional Gunnies Midi a navy blue with purple/green/white calico floral, 2 x pockets, lace and ribbon trim, zip up back. The alterations were not done by me (please see inside-out photo), appears they shortened to a mini by removing a section, hemming the bottom and resewing. Also, the traditional eye/hooks at the waist have been replaced with a button and u...nfinished button hole. I'm going to leave the button hole unfinished in case you want to move it, I don't want that slit to be permanent. Label is present and marked a Gunnies 5, would best fit a modern XXS or XS (24" waist, no give). The fabric is in great vintage condition with no issues. Will be fun to own a "mini gunnies" as it is not traditional.
