This is an outstanding value in a vintage receiver, maybe you or your kids are just starting out in vintage audio, and spinning vinyl again, or need a spare receiver for the garage, back porch or camp You won't even get close to a brand name receiver from the 70's with 55 watts a channel for anywhere near this price.Fully tested all lights, controls, and functions work beautifully. This is a sleeper vintage receiver with 55 watts per channel. A great receiver with a barg...ain price for it's size and power. Good looking well built , all controls are dead quiet and it sounds sweet. Cosmetically excellent condition, one set of speaker terminals is a little loose, but still functions perfectly and holds the wire fine. There was quite an impressive line-up, but I have a feeling that the brand was
more popular here in Europe than in the U.S.
My 1979/80 catalogue lists seven receivers, models from top to bottom are:
RS-1080 - 190wpc - weight 33.3 kgs (!)
RS-1060 - 135wpc - 25.3 kgs
RS-1058 - 90 wpc
RS-1056 - 75wpc
RS-1052 - 55wpc
RS-1035 - 40wpc
and the "baby" RS-1022 - 30wpc It will be double boxed, surrounded in foam to insure safe undamaged delivery to your home or business. It does require some expert packaging experience, proper packaging materials and lots of time to pack it right, so it does get there safely. I think it's worth a few extra bucks, most items can't be replaced for any price. A note for you eBay global customers: ( I will get it to your door safely and insured.)
