An antique 15 carat yellow gold brooch. Stamped 15 ct and the mark for Murrle Bennet & Co - see pics.Measures about 3 and a half cm wide. Set with a green stone which I think is jade or chalcedony see pics. Total weight including the stone is approx. 6.4gms. Brooch has not been cleaned. There is a small imperfection in the stone - see pics - not a chip but looks as if it has been maybe knocked at some stage. Please view the pics. One of the stone supports is square - see pics - I t...hink it is this shape to support the stone - see pics. I am not an expert in this make of jewellery - any further info is welcomed - just message via eBay messages. The pics are magnified in order to show details.
