Hard to find original "mini" Glo-Dial neon clock. The back of the clock measures 14.5'' diameter and the depth from front to back is 4.5''This is an ORIGINAL vintage clock from the early 1950s that I have thoroughly cleaned and serviced. It will arrive ready to plug in and use. All work was done properly and neatly so you can use the clock continuously as a time piece without worries. It works perfectly and is totally quiet with no humming or buzzing.The front g...lass, hands, face, movement and canister (including back cover) are all completely original with original paint and chrome plating.The dial glass has near perfect original reverse painted graphics. There are two tiny pinholes in the paint which are visible if you look closely but there are no signs of crazing, peeling, lifting etc.There are some areas of light rust and pitting in the chrome canister but nothing serious. There are no dents, dings or other issues.Hands and black dial have mint original paint. The back of the canister shows some minor scratches and wear.The original 1953 dated movement was cleaned/lubricated and a new Synchron motor was installed. The new motor is of the same specs as the original. Happily the company that has been making these motors since the 1930s is still in business.I replaced the dry rotted cord with a cloth covered 3 wire grounded power cord and retro style plug.Please rest assured that this clock will be double boxed and properly packaged to ensure safe delivery regardless of how the package is handled.I will be listing more neon clocks in the coming days as well as some nice vintage neon signs and back-lit advertising clocks.Please be sure to keep an eye on my other auctions.
