This listing is for an English Adie Brothers circa 1930s, Art Deco sterling silver and enamel cigarette or vesta case with a green jade accent on the cover. The case measures 3 1/4 by 2 3/4 inches or 8.5 by 6.3 cm, and weighs 3.15 troy ounces or 98.1 grams.The case features a black enameled cover with light green enamel corners. The cover is further enhanced with a carved jade jewel with a partial surround of marcasite. The case has a hinged side and a push button clasp. The interior ...has a gold vermeil wash and an elastic band. The back has a small engraved pattern and line design on the clasp. The interior is marked with the makers mark "A BROS LTD" along with the anchor city mark for Birmingham, the lion silver standard mark, and the date letter "J".The case is in very good condition, and ready for your home or shop.
