Gordie Howe signed 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 vintage 1970s slip. This was part of a huge 1970s 3x5 collection I recently purchased from Heritage Auctions. See Heritage's description below.
"This autograph collection was assembled in the 1970's andspans the American League. The person who went through theexhaustive effort of collecting signatures did so on a number ofmediums. Many of the ballplayers (215 by our count) signed thereverse of pink 50/50 raffle tickets (6x2.5" with ...perforationfolded) in period ballpoint. Others (359) penned their identity toindex cards. There are also 144 signed 1972 Oldsmobile tickets(4x3") by other big leaguers. Another twenty-one signed pieces ofparchment and seven pieces of team-signed stationery complete thecollection. Some duplication is found. Highlights include: LymanBostock (duplication), Rod Carew, Charlie Gehringer, Dick Howser, Elston Howard, Hank Aaron, Dan Frisella, Dan Thomas, AurelioRodriguez, Pete Vukovich, George Brett (multiples), Billy Martin, Mark Fidrych, Danny Thompson, Brooks Robinson, Sparky Anderson, JoeNuxhall, Howard Cosell and many more.
