Absolutely stunning style! Genuine black mink fur swing coat with a huge, dramatic 70" sweep. The swing or A-line cut of this coat is so flattering because it gives you such nice drape and movement and skims over your figure, rather than clinging to the body. Has a cape-like appearance from the back which I really like.... Coats with large sweeps are much more expensive as they require many more pelts to make. This coat would also look fabulous with your favorite belt because of the swing cut. Classic timeless style with notched collar and hidden side pockets. This coat has a beautiful black silk or satin lining with intricate beaded details and velvet trim. Please note that there are currently two fur hooks on the coat, and the top hook is loose, it's just the thread that has come undone. This is a very easy fix if you are handy with a needle and thread, or any tailor can easily reattach it. You can also have a third hook put on top if you want the option of closing the coat all the way up. A furrier or tailor can adjust the hooks and you can have them placed at the perfect position for you, there is currently about a 3 1/2" overlap so that gives a lot of room for adjustment, please see end to end pelts measurement at underarm level. I purchased this coat in pre-owned condition because I loved the swing cut, but it turned out to be a bit too large for me so I never wore it myself. I'm a size 4 petite, I can wear it but it's just looser fitting. In my opinion it is in very good condition for a pre-owned or vintage coat, I cannot find any obvious signs of wear other than a couple of tiny holes in the lining, one at the right underarm seam and another in the center near the bottom hem. Please see last photo shown with a quarter to get an idea of just how small they are, you really have to look closely to see it at all. Any white areas are just the reflection of the glossy fur, also when you touch fur it creates "fingerprints" because the hairs temporarily go in a different direction and reflect light differently. I can't find any wear on the fur; even the collar, front edge, cuff ends and pocket openings are super clean with no bald areas. There is no size tag in the coat but it measures like an approximate size medium to large, or 8-10-12-14? (please see detailed measurements below). The swing style makes the size much more forgiving, it also depends on how you like your coat to fit. There is also room to move the hooks over, currently has an approximate 3.5" overlap. Please see all 12 photos for condition details, I tried to show every inch of the coat inside and out and also the cuff ends and pocket opening so you can see for yourself as I do understand that everyone has different criteria and standards. The coat appears black except under the brightest light where it looks just slightly brown. Please note that I lightened all photos to show style details.
