 19th Century Decorated Mystery Club? Tanzanian, Polynesia / Oceanic?

This is an interesting and beautiful 19th century decorated club that is a bit of a mystery. It may be Polynesian/Oceanic but there is a possibility it could be African - someone suggested Tanzanian, however, another person also suggested Amazon/S.America. It measures 33" long, the head measures 3.5" x 2.5" diameter and it has an excellent patina with simple dark decoration to the club end and part of th...e shaft. There is an age split to the head and also a section of splitting to the shaft (see photo #10 & #11).
